After getting an engineering job with an international oil gas company, he found a property that needed repairs in a neighborhood he wanted to be in. He approached the sellers, made an offer, fixed it up, and ended up living in there. Months later, he noticed that the property next door was vacant and needed repairs as well. He reached out to the owners and found that they had no use for the property. He made them an offer, bought it, and fixed it for a family to enjoy. As time went on, he found other sellers that needed the same type of service for different reasons.
